Ciao a tutti,

Ciao a tutti,
il plugin mi chiede innanzitutto l'INPUT FILE che dovfebbe essere un file di text (...Input File - Use this control to browse to and select the file to be converted. Pleasenote that all files to be converted must be ascii (text) files. Mac users please note that files should be ”‘DOS” text files or they will probably not be read properly.)
(Vado a senso).

Hallo,
I really found big difficulties to utilize TransMotion Plugins... but now my problems is above all one:
I don't know where is or how make the INPUT FILE .
I've Mac oSx 10.6.7 and Lightwave 10.
In the little Guide to Transmotion you write:
"... Input File - Use this control to browse to and select the file to be converted. Please
note that all files to be converted must be ascii (text) files. Mac users please note that
files should be ”‘DOS” text files or they will probably not be read properly..."
Which files? How can I have this file?
[Naturally. I'm in LW layout, I've the animation just completed and I've your plugin opened... but 'I don't know which file have I to converter (INPUT FILE)]
Can you explain me please How ca i find,or create this INPUT FILE and HOW can After Affect accept it?

Many thanks, bye!

La RISPOSTA DI AL:

Hi,

It is referring to either motion files (.mot) that you create in LW and wish to bring into After Effects, or After Effects keyframes that you want to bring into LW.

See this tutorial for an example of going both ways:

http://ats-3d.com/transmot/tmtute2/tute2.htm

A very popular usage is to bring a LW camera into After Effects. In this case you will want to use the POIcam_AEPro plugin. Please take a look at this example:

http://www.ats-3d.com/POIcam/POIcam_AEpro/

Since you are using LightWave 10 on OSX, please be aware that there is a bug in LW10 64-bit version that prevents certain plugins (POIcam_AEPro, for one) from working. This bug is in the Layout software and not in the plugin. The workaround until NewTek fixes this is to run LW10 in 32-bit mode, or drop back and run LW 9.6 or earlier.

Hope this helps you.

Best regards,

Al

Ciao.
