ma... a proposito... se non ricordo male tu in passato hai avuto problemi con le lightmap e gli strani "aloni" o macchie di luce.
Hai poi risolto? Perchè leggendo nel forum NT non ho visto molte risposte in merito a quello che definivi bug... Poi con l'ultima versione hai risolto?

si l'ultima versiona risolve molti problemi; tuttavia le LM continuano a comportarsi in modo strano ma solo se utilizzate impropriamente (troppe o troppo poche, o valore N non adatto alle condizioni globali).

Comparing both times and results found in "g4dual" posts (http://www.lwita.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1690) i feel there's something wrong.
I tested the *very same scene* on three different machines:
- Notebook Asus Pentium M 740 Centrino 1.73Ghz, 512Mb Ram, ATI X600. Windows XP Home, Lightwave 8.3 e Kray 1.612
- PC Pentium 4 (640 3.2Ghz Prescott HT), 2Gb Ram, ATI FireGL T2. Windows XP Pro, Lightwave 8.5 e Kray 1.612
- PC AMD Athlon XP 1800+, 1Gb Ram, Nvidia GeForce DDR. Windows 2000 workstation, Lightwave 8.3 e Kray 1.612
Results shows how irradiances are totally different, even on different tests done on the same machine.
Notebook was the fastest and most coherent, P4 the slowest and more messy.
AMD performed very oddly.
So what ? Am i missing some settings here... i cannot find any logic in this; even if samples are generated randomly, i guess there's more than this here.
Here's the scene for you to test. i think it could be useful for debugging also...

Dvrebbe essere il forum ufficiale di Kray (in realtà non ne sono sicuro ma credo sia questo).
Vediamo cosa dicono prima di fare ulteriori prove.... magari stò solo sbagliando io i settaggi
