Free Textures: Collezione Completa Formica

Matt ha reso disponibile un pacchetto di textures di scansioni di formica:

Formica (www.formica.com) used to have a free CD available of all their laminate and solid surface textures in a higher resolution (A4 @ 72dpi) than on their website.

They only had a limited supply and now that they're all gone, they haven't made any more, which is a shame. I found this out when I contacted them recently to see if there was an updated version.

So, I decided to share this Formica Collection library of textures maps, they're really useful if you do interior work. Most sort of tile, some don't, as they have shading on them, but even so, it's still worth having in your collection.

It doesn't contain their very latest designs, but everything else, including discontinued ones that might still be handy to have around.

FORMICA IMAGE CD 2006

This CD-ROM contains images of all the laminate designs included on the 2006 web site of Formica Limited.

Each design is provided as a .jpg, in RGB mode optimised for on-screen use at 72ppi. All images except for those in the Michael Banks Digital range are A4 size at this resolution.

Where F- items and K- items both occur within a single Range, all F- items are listed first in numerical order, followed by K- items in numerical order.

The designs shown have been matched as closely as the technology allows, but their representation is subject to the ability of individual users' computer video systems (graphics card and monitor settings) to reproduce accurately the true colours and patterns of each design. Formica Limited recommends that you examine actual laminate samples before specifying, fabricating or installing.

Essendo tra i fortunati che è riuscito a scaricarlo (la connessione è molto lenta), ho preparato un torrent che potete provare:

pare che va!!!è lento anche con torrent ma sono anche 284 mb
salvo inconvenienti bit torrent mi segnala 2.50 ore alla fine del download
ora è all'11%

Due ore e mezzo è un buon tempo rispetto alle dodici ore prevedibili.
Probabilmente dipende anche dal numero di seeds, che si stanno creando da poco.

mmm ANCORA niente, sono 3 ore e sto al 75%....
certo meglio delle 12 ore!!!
è che sono a casa e non ho mai effettuato download cosi lunghi mi manca riscontro rispetto a studio!!!

scusate la domanda banale, ma io non sono un gran esperto di queste cose, come funziona? estraggo l'archivio e poi il torrent come lo avvio?

Serve un client installato sul proprio PC per avviare i file *.torrent.
Io utilizzo "Azureus". Lo scarichi dalla rete (è gratuito) e lo installi, a quel punto è già bello che pronto per partire. Doppio clic sul file torrent e via, una volta confermato il programma lui inizia a scaricare

Grossolanamente funziona in questo modo

non è più facile usare Get right?
è un programma free, suddivide il download fino a 4 parti x la versione free, di più x la versione a pagamento, e con adsl a 2 mega ci sta mettendo 2 h circa..
in più puoi mettere in pausa e continuare il giorno dopo.
per il torrent non so se è così..
