A technique I used to get Bullet Dynamics into After Effects, using LightWave 3D.
This works purely with nulls, no 3d geometry is required within LW and the dynamics remain editable at all times, no baking required. A slightly niche technique but thought someone might find it useful!
A general rule when going from LW to AE: if you can see the pivot points move you can send it across.
Note: at approx 10.30 I forgot to zero out the rotation/orientations of the AE Polaroid layers after parenting, so the rotations don't match what you see in LW. Easy fix, set all rotations/orientations to 0 just for those layers!
